The villa sits in front of the beautiful infinity pool (hence its name) and is used and shared by owners and guests of the other 10 properties at this location. Due to the small size of the development, the pool area is never over crowded. With purpose built BBQs at poolside, this is a very social location for families and couples. Views are stunning, tireless and with amazing sunsets. With the closeness to Yalikavak, this beautifully furnished and presented holiday villa is a perfect choice for holidaymakers.

Private gaden, terraces and two private balconies - all sea-facing. The development is built on a hillside hence the breathtaking views. Aegean Infinity has prime position above the pool which is a few steps away. Guests have use of the beautiful shaped infinity pool and sun deck, there are sun loungers and shade plus communal BBQs purpose built at pool side. A huge sunbathing terrace surrounds the fabulous infinity pool, the pool has been carefully designed to maximise the view and looks as though it blends into the Aegean.
PARKING - Please Note - due to the steep incline. It is strongly recommended that guests use the upper access to the development and not use the lower access from the swimming pool area. The Turkish Aegean Coast Region

On the Bodrum Peninsula buildings are not permitted to be built more than 2 stories high, and there are no buildings higher than 3 stories in the whole Peninsula. This tends to make the area look particularly attractive. Most of the buildings are white washed cubes, similar to those in the Greek Islands. This is because this part of Turkey used to belong to Greece and some of the Greek Islands used to belong to Turkey. As you can imagine, there is a lot of history around the area.

History
Archaeological excavations have established that human habitation in the Yalikavak area began in around 2000BC, and there are ruins and artefacts from the Carian, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman eras. The historic sites such as Sandima, Pasanda (Geris), Kandiba and Termil (Dirmil/Gökçebel) attract visitors from all over the world. Yalikavak is famous for the numerous windmills found in the vicinity. The winds, that until recently turned the vanes of these working windmills, now fill the sails of boats and windsurfs. Another “typical” feature found in abundance here are domed water cisterns which, in the past, were used in times of drought and are now being adapted for artistic and cultural uses.

A 20 minute road journey will take you to Bodrum Centre with its historic castle which was built from 1402 onwards, by the Knights of St John as the Castle of St. Peter or Petronium. The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus is also located in Bodrum town.

Ferry trips to the Greek island of Kos can be made from Turgutreis and Bodrum
Further afield you can visit Ephesus, the largest archaeological site in the world, the stunning pools at Pamukkale, the royal rock tombs at Dalyan, and the temple of Apollo at Didim.

Yalikavak
Yalikavak's town centre has retained its traditional Turkish charm. With its simple but stylish laid back atmosphere and friendly welcoming locals, this is its main attraction and the reason why holidaymakers return to the area year after year. Along the coast road en-route from the villa to Yalikavak you will pass some of the best fish restaurants on the Bodrum Peninsula huddled together in their own 'fish restaurant village' area. A couple of minutes further on takes you to Yalikavak's fashionable new Marina (Palmarina) with super yachts, gullets and sail boats visiting from all around the world. The Marina is home to smart shops, bars, restaurants and a beach club which hosts open air concerts during high summer.

The centre of Bodrum is less than 20 minutes from here with its own smart Marina, town centre shops and, of course, the famous Bodrum Castle. Bodrum town has fabulous shops in the Marina area and also along the narrow streets of the old town near the Castle. At night, the Marina has open air live music starting at 10pm until the early hours nightly during high summer.

Yalikavak has supermarkets, banks, ATMs, Taxi ranks, bus station, petrol stations etc.

A car is advised for this location but not absolutely necessary. The dolmus (public transport minibus) runs along the top road above the 4 villas with private pools and will have you in Yalikavak for a few Turkish Lira in 5 minutes.

Distances: Bodrum town is 15/20 mins; Yalikavak is 5 mins drive, Gumusluk fishing village and harbour restaurants are 10/15 mins drive in the opposite direction

Turgutreis is 25 mins drive : Nearest supermarket, Migros ner the Marina 2.5km

Guest Feedback for holidays at Aegean Infinity Villa

Most Outstanding Property we have stayed in| August 2019
This is our 9th visit to the beautiful town of Yalikavak and the most outstanding property we have stayed in.
The pictures are a true reflection of the villa which has been beautifully and lovingly furnished by its owners; this is not just a holiday rental, it has been made to feel like a home! It is exceptionally clean and well appointed, with all that you need to enjoy your stay. Mustafa, the local contact, and his team maintain this property to a very high standard and, whilst we had no issues during our stay, is very helpful and dependable. The views from this villa are simply breathtaking and the reason it has been given its name Aegean Infinity.
As a family of five, this three bedroomed villa suited our needs perfectly; it is spacious and having two bathrooms plus an extra cloakroom was a welcome bonus! The infinity pool is simply beautiful. Although a car is recommended, it isn’t really necessary, the local dolmus bus passes nearby and cost 4tl into Yalikavak, whilst a taxi cost us 30tl ( approx £5) NB to have such amazing views there has to be an acknowledgement of its position on the hillside, the path up to the small development from the lower road is very steep or alternatively from the upper road, there are many steps down to it.
This is the second time we have booked a property through Annie Burnett and Peninsula Villas Bodrum. This is a very professional company whose aim is to provide the highest standard of customer service possible - yet again we were not disappointed! The booking process was very smooth and clearly explained via frequent and friendly communication. All financial transactions completed efficiently and our security deposit returned promptly.
Our airport transfers were booked by Annie using Yali travel who are also very efficient and friendly.
I can’t praise this property or the services provided by Peninsula Villas Bodrum enough. We returned yesterday and are planning on returning next year, we had such an amazing and peaceful time. Grateful thanks to the owners for sharing their home.”

We had a Blast| May/June 2019
Dear Annie, Hope this email finds you well. We are all fine here. I have to say that we had a blast. The villa was decently clean and the view is breathtaking. The location was a bit hastily for the taxi to reach but we managed and it went well. Can’t say enough about the villa manager and his wife, they were very helpful and friendly. Over all we had an amazing time and all was well arranged

Aegean Inffinity was Wonderful| Aug 2016
Our feedback is very positive. Aegean Infinity was wonderful. Our sincere thanks to you and the owner. The villa is extremely comfortable, well furnished and equipped and the location could not be better. Stunning views, a nearby dolmus stop for getting in and out of town, a shop and restaurant within walking distance - all so good. The pool was truly amazing. The best we have ever experienced. Hurdemy, too, was charming and very helpful. She responded promptly to all my messages and replaced gas and water within minutes. A real star.

Cannot recommend this villa highly enough| August 2016
We booked our stay at the villa through Annie and Ian Burnett who made what was quite a complex procedure in terms of confirming, paying, connecting us with the villa manager and taxi transfers etc., as smooth as possible. We booked at very short notice so were thrilled when we secured the booking. When we arrived at the villa we couldn't have been more delighted - very well appointed, large, comfortable with views to die for and with access to an exclusive infinity pool overlooking the bay - albeit shared by a few other families in the complex, but plenty large enough. Really, we cannot recommend this villa highly enough. Sara, who manages the villa on the ground, was worth her weight in gold, knew all the locals, what to do, where to go. Marvellous!
