Daily Turkish Breakfast is available at Euro100 per day and prepared by on-site staff. This lady is also available for daily light house keeping duties (it may also be possible for evening meals to be cooked by prior arrangement at additional cost, please enquire).

Built on three levels, Tia's spacious rooms provide breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding hillside, Yalikvak Marina and the Aegean Sea. Set in 3,000m of mature private gardens Tia offers 600m2 of house space and delivers what would be expected from a luxury villa rental including comfortable and tastefully designed interiors, VERY private pool, gardens and outside lounge, outside dining/BBQ/entertaining areas and poolside sunbathing terraces (both sunny and shady).

Furnished in chic country house/contemporary style, Tia offers a gentle flow of living space throughout its rooms. Designed to capture the views and light, large glass doors and windows let in light, the most amazing views and, during the evenings, spectacular sunsets from all 3 floors.

Entrance Level - First Floor: the entrance hallway is at first floor level which leads to a large living room and open plan fully fitted and fully equipped kitchen, offset internal dining area, guest cloakroom with WC and wash basin. At this level there are two large balconies with both lounge and dining furniture, perfect for watching those sunsets. If you ever get tired of those views, the lounge area has Satellite TV (Digiturk), DV Player, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Google Play and a Playstation 4...

Top Floor: here you'll find 3 of the bedrooms, all have en-suite bathrooms, fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets and drawer space. Two of these bedrooms have their own private sea facing balconies and are furnished seating areas.

Down to the

Ground Floor: This floor has a spacious living room, kitchenette and Bedroom 4 (Master Bedroom) with walk in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. This room has a King size bed and doors which open onto the pool terrace and gardens, sea view. The downstairs living room has the Play Station and some PS games, there are also some board games, cards, chess.

All Bedrooms are fitted with A/C units. A foldaway tybe baby bed and high chair is available should guests require this.

Tia's huge and very private infinity pool sits proudly in front of the villa amongst the well-established gardens, which are stocked with mature colouful plants and trees. At pool side there is a covered pergola with seating and low level table. Around the pool are high quality padded sun loungers for each guest to relax in the sun. If you prefer shade, drag a lounger over under one of the shady areas dotted around the pool terrace.

Dine al-fresco on the poolside terrace during the evenings, or BBQ or simply sit on one of the balconies watching the sunset and the lights of Yalikavak and the marina come alive.

The Turkish Aegean Coast Region

On the Bodrum Peninsula buildings are not permitted to be built more than 2 stories high, and there are no buildings higher than 3 stories in the whole Peninsula. This tends to make the area look particularly attractive. Most of the buildings are white washed cubes, similar to those in the Greek Islands. This is because this part of Turkey used to belong to Greece and some of the Greek Islands used to belong to Turkey. As you can imagine, there is a lot of history around the area.

History

Archaeological excavations have established that human habitation in the Yalikavak area began in around 2000BC, and there are ruins and artefacts from the Carian, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman eras. The historic sites such as Sandima, Pasanda (Geris), Kandiba and Termil (Dirmil/Gökçebel) attract visitors from all over the world. Yalikavak is famous for the numerous windmills found in the vicinity. The winds, that until recently turned the vanes of these working windmills, now fill the sails of boats and windsurfs. Another “typical” feature found in abundance here are domed water cisterns which, in the past, were used in times of drought and are now being adapted for artistic and cultural uses.

A 20 minute road journey will take you to Bodrum Centre with its historic castle which was built from 1402 onwards, by the Knights of St John as the Castle of St. Peter or Petronium. The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus is also located in Bodrum town.

Ferry trips to the Greek island of Kos can be made from Turgutreis and Bodrum

Further afield you can visit Ephesus, the largest archaeological site in the world, the stunning pools at Pamukkale, the royal rock tombs at Dalyan, and the temple of Apollo at Didim.

Yalikavak

Yalikavak's town centre has retained its traditional Turkish charm. With its simple but stylish laid back atmosphere and friendly welcoming locals, this is its main attraction and the reason why holidaymakers return to the area year after year. Along the coast road en-route from the villa to Yalikavak you will pass some of the best fish restaurants on the Bodrum Peninsula huddled together in their own 'fish restaurant village' area. A couple of minutes further on takes you to Yalikavak's fashionable new Marina (Palmarina) with super yachts, gullets and sail boats visiting from all around the world. The Marina is home to smart shops, bars, restaurants and a beach club which hosts open air concerts during high summer.

The centre of Bodrum is less than 15 minutes from here with its own smart Marina, town centre shops and, of course, the famous Bodrum Castle. Bodrum town has fabulous shops in the Marina area and also along the narrow streets of the old town near the Castle. At night, the Marina has open air live music starting at 10pm until the early hours nightly during high summer.

Yalikavak has supermarkets, banks, ATMs, Taxi ranks, bus station, petrol stations etc.

A car is advised for this location. The dolmus (public transport minibus) runs along the main road from Yalikavak to Bodrum
